Tom Northcott - Upside Downside (1971)

Tom Northcott - Upside Downside  (1971)

Tom Northcott's "eponymous debut album "Upside Downside" is a brilliant rare canadian folk album!   I have been hunting for this album for a long time and finally found it at my local thrift store!
The album lives up to all the underground hype with Nortcott performing both original and borrowed melodies including Leonard Cohen's "Suzanne", Randy Newman's " Old Kentucky Home" and The Move's "Blackberry Way".

Camel - the single factor (1982)

Camel - The Single Factor

A later early release by symphonic greats Camel showing a lighter less overtly progressive sound but still some amazing moments.  Helping out Andy Latimer and Pete Bardens is Anthony Phillips and Chris Rainbow which gives a more Alan Parsons feel to the album.

The instrumental tune "Saskquatch" is worth the price of admission here alone!
