Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde , 1966 (SACD)
In sharp contrast to Highway 61, Dylan's double album "Blonde on Blonde" brought together a rockier more bluesy edge to his music. With the assistance of Robbie Robertson this album is one of the most powerful studio albums from Dylan's vast catalogue IMHO. The album cover is blurred as is the music on this album with Dylan's sharp and angular lyrics with an overall surreal feeling. The last side of the 2nd album is totally devoted to perhaps Dylan's finest song in Lady Of The Lowlands which sounds even more spectacular in high res SACD.
