Wynton Kelly was adored by Miles Davis and so many others as well. Kelly Blue is one of his early solo albums and IMHO is a great recording. This album showcases the piano work of Kelly with the assistance of Nat Adderley (cornet), Bobby Jasper (flute), Benny Golson (tenor sax) , Paul Chambers (bass) and Jimmy Cobb (Bass). Of course Cobb and Chambers both were the rhythm section for Miles Davis.
