Dungen's first album was originally only released on vinyl and thanks to the demand for this band they finally released it again. Essentially this is 3 epic space tracks and is kind of where it all started I guess. Although the core is very much Dungen you can definitely hear a stronger psychedelic influence here with the sitar on "midsommarbongen" and the warped out keyboards on "Lilla vannen" with its deep bass throbs.
Lead vocalist and band leader Gustav Ejstes is still of course the main component in Dungen who wrote, arranged and even produced this debut album.
There are pieces of Pink Floyd...especially piper-era
Very interstellar ........but totally absorbing!
