The Who - Who's Next (1971)

  On Nov 23 I went and saw the WHO in concert here in Toronto which was excellent.  Roger Daltrey's voice is just no longer able to hit the high registers which is sosad....but this is called getting older!

 

  So in memory of the WHO and the way they were, I thought I'd review my favourite album with "Who's Next".

   On Who's Next everything clicked for the band with 2 huge songs coming off this album Baba O'Riley and Won't Get Fooled Again which became fan favorites for a life time.  But more than the hits this album was really the Who through and through.

 And to think that this album was released on the heels of their famous rock opera TOMMY.

    The Mods had grown up and managed to record one of the true defining albums of the 70's!    This is a true classic album and an essential piece of rock and roll history.
