The music of Big Country's "The Crossing" was a big part of my high school years......that album had a huge impact on me and ever since I have loved their music.
"Steeltown" was their second album and although perhaps not as strong as the debut album still had some great moments for me. In fact this album produced 3 top 40 hits in the UK and solidified them in music history.
Big Country were known for their sound where guitars sounded like bag pipes and Stuart's working class lyrics fusing it all together.
