Well after pulling "Welcome Back" off the shelf I decided I had to listen to "The Four Of Us" which is an album I also adore.
This was Sebastian's second solo album and didnt fair as well as his debut album yet remains one of his most beloved solo albums by fans. This album features an ambitious side long track "The Four Of Us" which for a pop artist was a very risky thing to do at the time.
Side One features a number of sunshine-pop tunes all sung with the emotive almost descriptor-like painter. Standout track is the Lovin' Spoonfully-reminiscent "Apple Hill" and of course the epic Side Two title track.
