I will admit that I was never really a big KD Lang fan but I heard her version of Western Stars and had to track down this album. What I like about this album is its simplicity and purity with a heavy focus on the voice of K.D. Lang.
Musically this album carries a heavy Country twang with a nice cross section of songs including her take on Black Coffee.
The album was produced by Owen Bradley and offers an excellent sound quality.
