Michael Rother of course was a member of both Germany's electronic pioneers Kraftwerk and Neu! and released this gem in 1977 marking the finest album he ever released IMHO. With engineering credits to Conny Plank and percussion to Can's Jaki Liebezeit this album drips of the coolness of Neu! and the colors of Kraftwerk thru and thru.
Flammende Herzen (Flaming Heart) is a masterpiece IMHO and deserves a lot more attention than it gets!
This is one of my "go to" albums when I need that certain fix.........,....Enchanted space psych rock music with a feeling like you are orbiting another planet......
Fans of Neu! will adore this album and in many ways echoes the feeling created on those classic Krautrock albums. There is a tune on the second side called "Feuerland" which fans of Kraftwerk will likely go crazy for it.
