1967 was an extra special and productive year for Donovan who released 3 albums with great reception from both sides of the ocean. Released first `Sunshine Superman`was kind of the musical spokesperson for the emerging UK Flower-power generation. Donovan was considered by many to be the UK`s version of Bob Dylan with his lyrically poignant folk style.
The remastered version of Sunshine Superman sounds pretty solid too and is a nice upgrade to earlier versions which great clarity and a great booklet full of great detail.
If you still wear flowers in your hair then I would highly recommend you pick up this beauty which IMHO is pretty much an essential album from the golden age of psychedelia !
