"Second Time Around" was Etta James' second album and followed in the footsteps of her stunning debut album "At Last!". Once again Phil and Leonard Chess added orchestra to support James's voice to help entice more Pop culture support for her music.
Etta emotes the jazz and pop standards with her powerful, emotion-rich voice. There are plenty of memorable moments, not least her upbeat, soaring version of "Seven Day Fool" and the tender "Don't Cry Baby".
