Robin Kenyatta - Gypsy Man (1973)

Robin Kenyatta - Gypsy Man

Gypsy Man was a landmark album for funk and jazz enthusiasts worldwide and remains a pinnacle album of the 70's.  The truth is that I dont think Kenyatta really did anything in his career quite as good as this album !

Fusion meets psychedelic meets jazz meets rock ....all twirled into one astonishing album that WILL blow your mind!

Kenyatta honks his sax and toots his flute to some  groovy grooves while his musical pals create a wonderful landscape to develop these great musical pictures.   Kenyatta bring along a few friends to help him develop this masterpiece including Billy Cobham, Stanley Clarke and David Spinozza.

A fantatsic album with some very cool vibes and sonic imagery for you to get lost in

Along the way we also get a bit of Stevie Wonder and Gato Barbieri!

Simply an essential album !!!!!
