This album was recorded during the 60's Batman craze and was initially credited to the "The Sensational Guitars of Dan and Dale" when in fact it really was a union of Sun Ra's Arkestra and Danny Kalb's Blues Project (one of the first psychedelic rock bands as well as one of the world's first jam bands).
The musicians that are featured on this album are simply killer with both
Danny Kalb and Steve Katz
(later of Blood, Sweat & Tears) on dueling guitars, Sun Ra and his band and
the legendary Al Kooper on Hammond B3 !
