After the demise of German electronic/prog band Neu! , Klaus Dinger recorded "La Dusseldorf". Dinger is accompanied by brother Thomas and Hans Lampe who was also on the 3rd and final NEU! album.
Klaus Dinger of course was also in the early days a lead member of KRAFTWERK.
Best way to describe this album might be to image a upbeat version of NEU! or perhaps a more pop driven Kraftwerk. This music is very embryonic in nature and is a wonderfully warm album from start to finish.
Fans of German electronic will adore this album I bet and yet it remains a very underground commodity and unknown to a lot of electornica fans...which is sad.
